Margaret Rosas

Margaret was awarded a grant by the Knight News Foundation for her Radio•Engage proposal. A career fan of public media, she hopes Radio•Engage will guarantee public radio’s relevance for a generation living increasingly online.

Margaret founded Quiddities Dev, Inc in 2003. She and her team of developers have been hard at work since then creating strategic website solutions, conversation platforms, and connecting communities, online or off.

Steve Laufer
Steve Laufer

Steve Laufer is at KUSP where he is working to embrace a shift from being the "New Media Director" to a "Community Organizer". His contributions to public radio have been vast and recently include architecting an embedded music show player and local portals for economic resources and arts to be prototypes for Radio•Engage. In 2008, Steve also produced the wildfire coverage for KUSP.org.

Amie Forest
Amie Forest

Amie has been charged with the difficult task of rendering the complex Radio•Engage interface into an intuitive navigation and attractive theme. She also balances the many features of the CMS with internet usability standards, making the station website a comfortable place for everyone to participate. As Creative Director of Quiddities, Amie brings her unique vision and artist’s background to the web design process, creating custom images and interfaces. She recently brought NextSpace.us, Santa Cruz Design + Innovation Center and the Seagate Media Center to launch.

Mindi Lawrence
Mindi Lawrence

Mindi is responsible for turning Radio•Engage from concept to reality. Her development expertise continue to guide the public radio project on the path to completion. Mindi’s talent for troubleshooting makes her a favorite among Quiddities clients and fellow programmers, as well as the go-to gal for solving insurmountable problems.

Desiree Cox
Desiree Cox

Desiree's ability to manage information flow has made appearances at almost every stage of the Radio•Engage project. As the Quiddities messenger, she connects listener needs and station protocols to developers, aiding the construction of an interface that accomplishes station goals while remaining appealing to listeners and allowing an organic conversation to take place.
